Meditation Room or Space

Hi it’s me again here with another meditation. Sometimes my imagination runs wild by looking at some pictures of different places or things (Especially if I don’t know what it is I’m looking at). So the next several meditations will be on that theme. I hope you enjoy them. So with that let’s get rolling!

a place & time where you won’t be distracted or disturbed. Get into a comfortable position. Take several deep cleansing breaths in through the nose & out through the mouth. Next, do a progressive relaxation starting from your feet & working your way up to your head.

Once you’re totally relaxed, picture yourself in a meditation room or space. Is it indoors or outdoors? If it’s indoors is it well lit or semi-dark? If it’s outdoors is it in a natural setting such as a garden, by a lake, or any other place you prefer? What time of day is it? Morning, afternoon, or evening? Who do you have with you? What (if any) sounds do you hear? Do you smell any aromas? Make this room/space your own. Nobody can come in here without your permission. Stay here for as long as you wish.

When you’re ready, take one or two more deep cleansing breaths, count slowly to five, stretch yourself out a bit, slowly open your eyes, and go in peace. Take these positive feelings with you as you go on with the rest of your day or evening. Remember that you can come back to this room/space as often as you’d like.

Well I hope that you enjoy this meditation. I’ll be back in a couple days with another one. Until then Sat Nam,

Dana Morgan
