Hi it's me again here with a new metation. So with that, let's get started.
Make yourself comfortable and allow yourself to relax. Inhale and exhale deeply and slowly. Continue to breathe like this for a moment or two.
Visualize yourself in a cabin in the mountains. There’s a fire crackling in the fireplace. You’re snuggling under a warm comforter while sitting in a well-cushioned chair. See the fire as it dances in front of you. Hear the snapping, crackling, and popping sounds that the wood makes as it surrenders to the flame. Notice the warmth on your face as you wrap yourself up in your quilt.
The cabin is dark accept the areas close to the firelight. There are shadows on the walls and on the floor. Notice the warmth, the sounds, the dance of shadows, and the warmth of the flames. All of these things come together inside of you to make you calm, joyful, and peaceful. Enjoy these good feelings.
You look out the window and you see the snow on the ground. In addition, the full moon washes the scenery with its pale light. The difference between the coolness of the snow and the warmth of the cabin is very inviting. As you look out the window, it starts snowing again. Gently and calmly you take off your comforter, stand up and stretch. You can feel the cool calmness just beyond the circle of warmth made by the fire. Calmly you more toward the door, open it and step outdoors.
The cold air is invigorating and wakes you up. You welcome the cold contrast. Notice how one delicate snowflake lands on the back of your hand. Pay attention to its beauty and serenity. It looks like a tiny ice sculpture that was made just for you. So tiny and fragile. It’s hard to believe that the earth is covered with so many of these tiny ice sculptures.
You stand quietly and observe the snowflake. There’s nothing that you have to do or anywhere that you have to be right now. You watch the snowflake. Your hand’s warmth reaches through the snowflake and it starts melting. However, just as that one goes away, another one lands on the same place. It’s so similar to the other one, but so different.
Observe the snow while it softly falls. It caresses your eyelashes and lands on your face. The snow falls to the ground in its own way and at its own pace. There’s no need to hurry no need to rush. It’s as if every flake is enjoying the trip.
Just as the snowfalls at its own pace and in its own way, your body will heal itself at its own pace and in its own way. As you watch the snowfall you think to yourself, “My body’s own healing energy will take over in due time without any planning or effort on my part. There isn’t anything that I have to do but to just let it happen.”
Come back inside of the cabin, wrap yourself in your quilt, close your eyes and relax.
Take another deep cleansing breath and exhale slowly. Keep your eyes closed and notice your surroundings. Breathe in and out. You feel totally refreshed and rested by your trip to the cabin. When you feel ready, take one more deep cleansing breath, count to five slowly, stretch yourself out a bit, and slowly open your eyes.
I hope that you've enjoyed this meditation as much as I've enjoyed bringing it to you. I'll be back in a cuple of days with a new one until then ~Nameste~,

This blog is on meditation. The first 10 meditations are basicly for stress management. The next group of meditations will help you to accelerate the healing process and manage pain. The 3rd group of meditations are what I call 'Escape meditations". Which you can use to imagine yourself in a peaceful place. Which is very useful if you're in pain or stressed out. And the last group of meditations will help you to prepare for and recover from surgery if this happens.

The Forest and the Meadow.
Hi, it's me again with your next meditation. So with that, let's get started.
Make yourself comfortable and allow yourself to relax. Take a deep cleansing breath all the way down into your belly. Continue to breathe in this way for a moment or two. Allow your eyes to close and your mind to clear. If a thought comes into your mind, don’t worry about it. Just let it go and decide that you can come back to it later, but not right now. Inhale slowly, and exhale letting go of all the tension of the day. Once again, breathe in and out. Pay attention to your muscles. Let go of all of the tension that has them all tied up in knots. Inhale, exhale, you’re calm.
Now visualize that you’re walking through a lush green forest. There are tall trees reaching up on every side of you. The branches are filled with green leaves and are reaching high above you. Notice that the sun’s rays make designs of darkness and light all around you. Notice how at the same time the patterns of darkness and light play across your face and body. Notice also the warmth of the sun and the coolness of the shade at the same time.
Remember how your life was filled with moments of darkness and light. Despair and hope, disappointment and expectancy. Both the times of warmth and cold have come together to shape that you are today. Joy and sorrow are like the patterns of the leaves. Enjoy the warmth and the coolness. They both come together in order to make life good.
Over a little hill you come to a meadow of grass and wild flowers. All the colors of the rainbow. They’re all intermingled with the green grass. You lay down in the meadow and look up at the bright colors. The ground is inviting. There’s nothing here that can harm you in any way. Laying here is pleasurable. The ground moves under you, just like the waves of the ocean. Soft winds move through the blades of grass and wildflowers, and they touch you softly. The soft touches are relaxing.
You feel total quietude and solitude as the forest and the meadow captivate you and you’re one with nature. Everything in your life has come together to make this moment. You don’t have any regrets. You didn’t make any mistakes. During your life, you made choices that you thought were the best at that time. Each event of your life was a stepping-stone for the event that followed. In addition, this moment will lead you to others. However, for now you’re at peace and rest.
Notice the different sounds of the woodlands. The songs of various kinds of birds, the breezes rustling through the grass and wildflowers, you hear the branches making a creaking sound as it moves towards the earth. A woodpecker makes a hammering sound. These entire melodies come together to make nature’s symphony.
Every moment of life has come together to make its own special blend to the harmony in your life. Every sound around you came together to make a wonderful song of nature. Every individual sound is pleasurable by itself. However, when they come together, they sing a combined hymn of praise to God. You too, are part of God’s creation. You’re so calm and at one
With nature. The woodland creatures have adopted you as one of their own. A squirrel climbs halfway down an oak tree to get a closer look at you lying in the grass. A deer comes into the clearing. Both of you look at each other. Then she crosses the meadow. Next a blue bird lands next to you looking for worms. He looks at you shortly as if to say “Hi” then goes about his business. You feel at home here in the forest. Lay here and enjoy the communion with God and nature.
Close your eyes and listen to the sounds of nature. Inhale deeply, and exhale slowly. Fondly remember all that your senses beheld. Continue to feel all of the calmness, joy, and tranquility of relaxing in the forest.
Another cleansing breath brings you gently to the present. The contentment, mood, sights, smells, sounds, and textures of nature stay with you. As you come back to the here and now, you keep all that you’ve experienced in the forest and the meadow with you. One more deep cleansing breath and you feel refreshed, relaxed, and renewed. You still feel connected with nature and all is well.
When you feel ready, gently rouse yourself by counting slowly to five, opening your eyes, and stretching yourself out a little. Be as mindful of your surroundings now as you were in the woods a little while ago. Hold onto all of the good feelings that you’ve experienced as you go on with the rest of your day or evening.
I hope that you've enjoyed this meditation as much as I've enjoyed bringing it to you. I'll be back in a couple of days with another meditation. So until then ~Nameste~,

The Healing Tree
Hi it's me again with another meditation. I was trying to figure out whether to put this one in the previos section of the blog or in this one. But I decided that this one would be better here. I hope you enjoy it & find it helpful for whatever you may be facing.
Get into a comfortable position in which you can relax. Take a slow, deep cleansing breath all the way down into your belly and allow your eyes to close. As you breathe out, allow all of your concerns to drift away. There’s no place that you have to go of nothing that has to be done right now. Again, breathe in and allow the breath to come into the very core of your being. Exhale, and feel the calmness. Take another deep cleansing breath and slowly let go as you arrive at your calm center.
In your mind’s eye, picture a tree before you. A large old tree has witnessed many years of change around it. Throughout its lifetime, it grew bigger, stronger, and wiser.
Feel the tree and notice the way that its bark feels. Also pay attention to the energy that’s inside the tree. Its strength is firm and quiet. It got its strength from understanding and wisdom. Allow the calm strength to come into your body and mind. Allow yourself to experience the tree’s life giving, healing energy. In the same way, you too, have this calm inner strength, which you’ll be able to call upon when needed.
The energy nurtures you and makes your healing system strong. This isn’t a force to be shown off so that the whole world can admire it. Instead the energy exists to make your inner self and your healing system stronger.
The quiet power of the tree gives you a sense of tranquility. It helps you to live with your changing body as it continues in the healing process. Be mindful of the energy that lies in the midst of the serenity. Give the calmness permission to this calmness to come into every part of you and notice it moving through you.
Touch the tree and the ground under your feet. Picture your legs and feet reaching down into the earth where the rich dark soil is. Visualize your feet coming together with the tree’s roots. This same soil nourishes the tree.
I hope that you've enjoyed this meditation as much as I've enjoyed bringing it to you. I'll be back in a couple of days with a new one. Until then ~Nameste~,

Introduction to the next group of meditations & the first meditation for this section
Hi it's me again. Sorry it took so long to give you the next meditation, but I was trying to figure out how to go about it without all the repetive typing. But here it is.
The purpose behind this next group of meditations is to give your mind a mini vacation. You can use them when you're stressed out and just need a break, you're healing from illness, injury, or surgery. So with that, let's get started
Rain shower
Get into a comfortable position and allow yourself to relax. Set aside all of your concerns take a deep cleansing breath and allow your eyes to close.
Now picture yourself walking through the countryside. Breathe in and smell the freshness of new growth. Breathe out and let go of all of your burdens. Inhale relaxation and peace; exhale pain, stress, and tension. Inhale and exhale.
From a distance, you hear a sound.
You turn around and see big rain clouds coming in. They continue to grow while you watch. They’re getting bigger and bigger. In addition, they’re climbing higher and higher up into the warm summer sky. They continue to get darker as you continue to watch them take in more moisture until they can’t hold anymore.
You ask yourself, “How long will it be before it starts raining?” Even as you wonder about this, you realize that there isn’t any way for you to know. It will start raining only when the clouds are ready to release it. Not a moment sooner or later. While you ponder this, you notice the 1st few raindrops softly touching your cheeks with their warmth.
You welcome the warm raindrops. They almost feel like a warm shower. and You allow them to come to you 1 at a time until you’re all wet. Allow the rain to wash away any fatigue, pain, stress, or tension that’s in your body and mind.
The mild soothing rain supports all of life. Your soul and spirit also feel at peace by the healing touch. You feel as if you’re a part of life and that life’s a part of you. Lay back and enjoy the wetness, warmth, and the earth. All of life is connected in this moment. You’re happy and full of life.
Eventually, the rain slows to a light sprinkle, and then to a few drops. The clouds go away and the sun begins to shine down on the freshly washed field. You smell the cleansed air, and you notice that the birds are singing their songs again. The earth has been washed clean, and you’re a part of it.
Enjoy the warm sun on your skin. The sun can’t burn or hurt you in any way. As you breathe deeply and slowly.
Now, start to let the image of the countryside fade. Take another deep cleansing breath, become aware of your surroundings, inhale and exhale. You feel totally refreshed, rejuvenated, and relaxed. When you feel ready, open your eyes and go in peace.
